But they wanted to make sure new reviews could be routed through a central editor for review and approval. User logins needed to remain tied to existing BusinessWeek systems. The goal was to increase efficiency and make a destination that was easier for guest professors to maintain as well as for students and professors to find materials and use. Solution: Juxta Digital designed a new site that better reflected the BusinessWeek brand, including a specialized content management and routing system that allows professors to create weekly reviews and Q&A’s for articles in BusinessWeek. We maintained the existing user password database and added new programming to account for other internal system updates, so that various user types – students, professors, guest writers – could have access to the specific content areas they needed. On the guest writer side, once reviews are created they are sent to the BusinessWeek editor for review and approval. The published content is organized into themes, making it easier for students to easily peruse and find. Also included are professor blogs and an easy way to search content on the main BusinessWeek site. |
