Juxta's Chief Strategy Officer Takes Interactive Video On The Road


New York, Friday, June 1, 2001 –

Martin Schecter, Juxta Digital's Chief Strategy Officer, takes to the road this summer and fall to speak at a series of conferences on the subject of enhanced television and interactive video.

Mr. Schecter will appear on a panel titled Five Star Branding: Interface Design for eTV at eTV World at the Javitz Center in New York on Tuesday, June 26th, 2001. He will give a short presentation on interactive design decisions for television and the web, and participate in a question and answer session with the panel.

Mr. Schecter next speaks at the National Association of Broadcaster's NAB Xstream Conference in New Orleans on Friday, September 7th. He will give an hour-long presentation on writing and producing interactive video.

Mr. Schecter also presents a shorter version of writing and producing interactive video on a panel devoted to streaming media at this fall's Internet World at the Javitz Center. The panel is scheduled for Tuesday, October 2nd, and will also include executives from Inktomi and other streaming video enablers.

The speaking engagements are in conjunction with Juxta Digital's efforts to raise awareness of its services providing strategy and development for streaming and interactive video.

Mr. Schecter is the former producer of On2Movies, a broadband video channel that featured original weekly interactive TV-quality shows and multimedia, and was rated the #1 broadband entertainment destination for April, 2000, by DSL Reports. Currently, he heads up strategy and business development for Juxta Digital, a digital solutions provider that has produced numerous rich-media and convergence applications for businesses and entertainment.
