Juxta Media Moves Up As Juxta Digital
New York, Monday, December 18, 2000 –
Juxta Media LLC announced today that it has relocated its offices uptown to the newly fashionable Garment District. Their new, larger offices are at 347 W. 36th Street. Juxta is also rebranding under the name Juxta Digital (http://www.juxtadigital.com).
Founded in 1997 by partners Michael Sutula and Martin Schecter, Juxta's first client was the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), for which they developed accounting, distribution, and rights management software and an online presence for the BBC's Library Sales division. Since then, Juxta has expanded its portfolio of work to include e-business, publishing, marketing, and ASP websites for numerous top clients, and has added to its service offerings to include strategy and design, new technology platforms, and content development.
Over the last three years, we've developed a strong core technical development team that can quickly tackle just about any challenge, says Martin Schecter, Chief Strategy Officer. What we really needed next was a larger space that would let us build a tightly-knit, full-service agency. Our emphasis has always been on client value, and we're continuing that theme as we strategically add to our service offerings.
New clients in Q4 2000 at Juxta Digital include Columbia University, Ploughshares Literary Magazine, and Robocast, among others. Juxta also continues its development for BlazeVentures.com, a web-based collaborative software platform that's expected to launch soon.
