NextWave Wireless
![]() www.nextwave.com • Content Management • Editorial Workflow • SOX Compliant Challenge: Public company Nextwave Telecommunications needed a new website design and a top-of-the-line content management system, particularly one that would be able to be compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act accounting rules for the SEC: specifically, able to track every change made and by whom, route changes through a hierarchy of approvals, and roll back to any previous version with the click of a button as necessary. Not only that, the system needed to be able to preview and publish the website on two separate servers in different locations, and handle at least five separate websites. Solution: Juxta Digital’s content management system provides an intuitive interface for updating all pages and articles on the website, and for communicating with editors and supervisors through a flexible content routing system. If workflow rules are not necessary, these can easily be overridden in individual cases or turned off all together. Content can be previewed prior to going live and approved content can be rolled out to the live site through a single, batched data transfer. The system manages the multiple websites through a templating structure that allows different websites to have different design templates. While Juxta Digital provided designs and templates for the first three websites published in the system, we also trained the client’s in-house design team on how to design new templates and set up a new site in the system themselves, so that the ongoing design and publishing of new sites could be brought in house. |
