Online Publishers Association

How could special features like the existing job board be integrated into a new CMS – and updated with a fresh look and new features that would bring the Online Publishing Association into the current decade? And how could the site be maintained without the services of a freelance programmer? Solution: Juxta Digital worked with design partner H2O Associates to preserve existing functionality while re-introducing functions into a new design and new content management system. The new CMS provided new features for members-only content, a searchable document archive, and an HTML email newsletter system that automatically tied in to documents archived on the website, while expanding existing functionality to be more easily maintained and updated within the CMS interface. Juxta Digital worked hand-in-hand with designers and OPA staff to design page functionality that would be both exciting and useful to the membership, and make the task of updating content easier; OPA members can now update content and create newsletters without the need of a programmer. Furthermore, the efforts of H2O Associates and Juxta Digital were recognized with a 2008 Web Award from the Web Marketing Association. |
